Description
Expand your woodworking tools while learning traditional cabinet making skills. Students will learn to create a cut list for cabinet parts, break down a 2x8 into the needed lengths, mill the parts to dimension, cut the joints and assemble a small wall cabinet. Basic woodworkoing skills are required, especially good familiarity with the table saw. Tools used will include Miter Saw, Jointer, Table Saw, Planer, Band Saw, Drum Sander and Router Table. Finished cabinet dimensions are 14" x 14" x 7"
Prerequisites: Members must have completed Woodshop Safety Training Part 1 and Part 2 prior to taking this class; non-members must have equivalent woodworking experience.
