1 Start 2 Complete Lynchburg is in trouble. We are surrounded on every front by an elite and relentless enemy. From Martinsville to Charlottesville, Roanoke to Richmond, high school students are engaging in the country's premier robotics league while we straggle behind, defenseless, void of any hope. For too long we have awaited rescue, but it's clear now that help isn't coming. Only you, the makers, can save the day. Help us bring the First Robotics Competition (FRC) to Lynchburg for the 2025 season. Volunteer your time as a mentor on the Vector Space team. The FRC program takes place over three different seasons: Build season, Competition Season, and Post-Season. Build season (Jan - Feb) is 6 weeks of robot building madness. Competition season (Feb - April) takes place over the following 6 weeks, which involves traveling and competing in nearby events (Richmond, Blacksburg, NOVA). Post-Season (May - ?) will involve a few, irregularly spaced community engagement events: Maker Faire, robot site visits, mentoring middle school teams, etc. Please fill out the form below so that we know best how to utilize your skillset.
