General

Anycubic Photon

Resin printers are used to produce highly detailed 3D prints.

Vector Space has an Anycubic Photon S resin printer.

Safety

  • Do not remove material from the printer before it has cooled.
  • Clean up clutter, debris and flammable materials at the printer after use.

Procedure

  1. Model Prep:
    1. Use Chitubox software to slice 3D model.
    2. Transfer to printer using USB stick
    3. Pour resin into vat about 1/3 full
    4. Click Print on LCD screen
  2. Model Cleanup and Curing:
    1. Once the print is complete, unscrew (red knob) and remove the printing platform.
    2. Remove part from print platform using plastic putty knife
    3. Dunk part in mason jar of used Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA).
    4. Carefully blow off IPA using compressed air.
    5. Move part to Elegoo Wash station
    6. Carefully blow off liquid using compressed air.
    7. Move part to Elegoo Curing station
