Member Handbook
Each member receives there own hard copy of the member handbook at orientation. The handbook covers a variety of topics including our mission statement , policies, organization of the leadership team, org chart, annual events, a glossary of terms and more.

How to use Slack
What is Slack? Slack is the digital platform where community stays active between visits to the physical space. It's where people share projects, ask for help, report a down tool, hear about workshop openings, and find out what's happening around the makerspace. Think of it as the community bulletin board that's always up to date. The information is organized nicely into channels (kind of like bulletin boards for different shop areas and projects) so you can choose to stay updated on what's relevant to you.
There are great videos out there that quickly take you through a few features and can help get you up and running easily. We've selected a few for you here.

| Can't find any channels or people in Slack | You are most likely signed into the wrong workspace or accidentally created one called "Vector Space" instead of signing into our slack workplace that already exists. | In the slack app, click on the logo icon in the top left corner and choose the proper workspace.
