Class Name Woodworking Basics: Step Stool

Description
This class is for Vector Space members to increase their skills and comfort in the woodshop. If you are new to woodworking, this class provides an opportunity to expand on basic knowldege of woodworking with the guidance of an instructor. Each student will make a pine step stool. Topics covered will include safety, layout of project, miter saw (square, angled, and bevel cuts), rip brace on table saw, belt sander, band saw or scroll saw, drill press, assembly, orbital sander, and discussion of finishing options.
Prerequisites: Members must have completed Woodshop Safety Training Part 1 prior to taking this class.
