Description
Learn MIG welding by making a Snow Person metal sculpture you can place in your house! Class will begin with a safety lesson, followed by welding fundamentals. Class will then move into the shop area to begin practicing by welding plates together. Finally we will build your metal art peace that you can take home to be proudly displayed.
Jeans, Cotton shirt, Closed toed shoes ideally boots. (Mesh top running shoes are discouraged)
Do not wear your favorite clothes. Welding can be messy.
COVID-19 and Class Safety Policies
For COVID-19 safety requirements during all classes, we ask that participants and instructors, as well as members working in the space, wear a mask over their nose and mouth indoors at all times while working in Vector Space as well as maintain a safe physical distance of 6ft from each other at all times while in Vector Space.
For class safety, participants are asked to wear short sleeves, closed toed shoes ideally boots, no jewelry, and long hair must be secured behind the head using a ponytail holder.
Do not wear your favorite clothes. Welding can be messy.
