Welding Program
Students will learn the basics of welding, using stick and MIG welders. There will be video's assigned to watch prior to class. The main project of the class will be a metal six-sided die and a stick man made of bolts. Students must wear pants and closed toed shoes. All safety gear and materials will be provided.
The Program
Have you ever wanted a place your homeschool student could experience a shop class, learn about engineering, and build projects with their hands?
This program is an opportunity specifically designed for homeschool families. Each month in this series focuses on different tools including the 3D printer, Arduino, and laser cutter, allowing students to practice skills such as welding, woodworking, and electronics.

Schedule
Students will meet with their instructor Fridays in November* from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.
*Class will not meet Thanksgiving week, November 23rd
Eligibility
This program is for students 14-18 years old. The class size is 6-8 students.
