Description
This class will cover the initial concepts of the fiber laser: q-pulse, frequency, etc., while also addressing the need for a
different safety mindset needed while at the Fiber Laser. Students will use these concepts to then analyze how changing the physical laser beam impacts our medium. After discussing how the settings work, students will choose from a pre-approved selection of vector files that all fit on a stainless steel business card. There will be options for borders, center images, or backgrounds that will be placed inside of a template. Students will then choose from predetermined settings and assign a desired texture or color layer to their chosen image[s].
