Beginner Blacksmithing: Bottle Openers

Learn how to blacksmith to create a bottle opener! This workshop is ideal for those interested in learning the basics of blacksmithing.

Following explanation and demonstration by the instructor, students will be guided to use forge, tongs, hammer and anvil to create a hook. Students will learn the proper blacksmithing skills to create a final project to take home. This is a physically demanding class, as students will be using a heavy hammer for long periods while working on the project.
