Description

During this intermediate sewing workshop, Ebony will walk you through making a jumper skirt  pattern based off of your measurements. Once you have completed the pattern draft, you will cut out your fabric and then learn how to sew it!

Skils you will be learning include drafting a circle skirt pattern based off your waist measurement, hemming a circle skirt, and installing a waist band as well as a zipper.

What to know/bring to the workshop:
1. Know how to thread a bobbin and machine needle as well as sew in a straight line. (Please note: These skills will not be taught during this class.)

2. Bring 3.5 yards of cotton fabric that is not stretchy. Print and color is up to you! Fabric will not be provided for this workshop.

3. Please wash and iron your 3.5 yards of cotton fabric before class on Sunday. If you do not do this step, your dress may shrink in the wash.

4. Also, please feel free to bring your own sewing machine and user's manual. If you do not have your own sewing machine, we have machines that you can use.

Please arrive a few minutes before class to get set up and ready to learn!
