Description

This three week class is an introduction to knife making using the stock removal method. You will start out with a 1.5” x 8” piece of steel.
We will walk you through the design stage by helping draw the knife you wish to make. You will cut your blade to shape on the metal cutting bandsaw, create a bevel on the belt grinder, and craft your knife sheath using a vacuform. Local maker JB of Iron & Earth will guide you each step of the way, until you leave with a knife and sheath you made yourself!

This is a three week class that meets Tuesday nights, March 3, 10 and 17, from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
