Description

Set sail with 3D printers and PrusaSlicer! Get an introduction to 3D printers, PrusaSlicer software and free 3D model websites. Students will practice slicing downloaded models, operating 3D printers and learn shared lab practices and etiquette. Each student will print a "benchy" tugboat.

Instructors

Paul Vandegraaf

Paul is a 3D Printing Shop Captain at Vector Space, with a focus on FDM printing. He enjoys the challenge of visualizing 3D objects, and sharing his knowledge with others. He is an acvite volunteer at the makerspace, and has been involved with several group project builds including the Power Racing Team, 3D printed knitting machine, and more.
